Data protection

Based on Article 13 of the Federal Constitution and the provisions of data protection legislation, each individual has a right to the protection of their private sphere as well as protection against the misuse of their personal details. The Federal Authorities comply with these provisions. Our hosting provider’s web servers register impersonal site usage data (log files) for the purpose of tracking trends for the Federal Authorities in order to improve the information offering. Site usage data is not linked to personal data. Your IP address is also stored for a limited period of time in order to limit the use of our partner information services (limited number of messages per IP address) and to prevent misuse of the service. There is an exception, namely when you choose to take up contact with us. If you register your e-mail address, the information is then stored in a separate database not connected with the anonymous log files. You may delete your registration at any time.
